If all you want to do is text anonymously for free to USA & Canada, just register an account (takes about 5 seconds) and click "SMS" on the navigation bar. Follow the instructions on that page.
This is a real texting app - there are no "emails" involved. Once you text them, it comes from one of our numbers and they can reply as they would to any other phone. Replies show up on your SMS page.
